sometimes I wonder if libraries are trying to make themselves irrelevant

Example:

At this time, OverDrive Audio Books are not compatible with the Macintosh operating system or iPod players.

Hmm. Considering that iPods are currently at least 40% of the market, you would think that the library would want to cater to them? But maybe they’re having trouble with the software end of things. Who knows.
