I need a mask

Like, a white half-mask. Because right now I look exactly like the phantom. The left side of my face is completely disfigured by this poison ivy–that’s what’s under my eye. I have it on my ear, my jaw, under my chin.
This morning I couldn’t convince myself that it was worth it to put on makeup, so I slammed glasses on my face and pulled my hair into a ponytail, and a customer just asked me if I was one of the owner’s kids.
Last night I went into the drugstore to purchase some sort of relief, and when I found the aisle full of soothing ointments and sprays and gels, I was so excited and overwhelmed by the sheer variety I nearly started spinning in place with delirious delight. Now my new best friend is Benadryl-wonderful stuff, drowning me in oblivion. And that’s just the spray on kind. If I get my hands on the internal stuff…watch out world!
